On 9th May 2025 ,amid very tense situation of war threat between India-Pakistan, We set out from Delhi on our 45 days trip of Eindhoven(NLs)to reunite with son & family & celebrate our Grand daughter Tarinni’s birthday on 19th May 2025.The celebration is planned to be held in Iceland where we will be touring from 17th to 22th May.I feel indebted to all my friends & co-bloggers for their invaluable wishes & blessings.I am grateful to the Almighty for bestowing us with yet another opportunity to visit Europe & explore the very sceinic ,rejunuvating & beautiful continent yet again.I will remind my valued readers that we visited Eindhoven in this month last year to assist our son in the delievery of their first child Tarinni.I will be posting a blog on the birthday Celebrations then. The trips were full of amazing monuments,natural landscapes & places of great scenic beauty.Enjoyed the visit enormously.Having traveled so much I felt like travel blogging & here I am doing just that !Apart from travel-blogging I also like poetry. Basically I am an Electrical Engineer retired recently from Central Govt. Service after serving for 38 yrs. Meanwhile I have completed my Master of Social Work degree to pursue my Social obligations towards my fellow beings & am engaged in rendering Social Services to the needy &the disadvantaged ! Also I will like to pursue my new-found interest/hobby of writing Travelogues to benefit my readers by providing max. details like statistics, demography, historical origin, way of life , professions , languages spoken & the culture/customs associated with any place. While enjoying any tourist place, I simply advocate that one must also try to learn about the place. I travel and then share the collected information with the potential traveler .Hence the name of my site - Travel and share.😊

I was pleasantly surprised that you were travelling through Warsaw, where I was born and studied at the university, before moving to England. It looks like you will have a wonderful time, especially now that a ceasefire is working.

    1. You are absolutely right that we have exciting plans to celebrate dear Tarinni’s birthday on our impending trip to Iceland from 17/5 to 22/5! Thanks, in advance, for your lovely blessings on the occasion (19/05/25)As for our trip through Warsaw, our tickets were cheaper by Rs 50k as compared to Helsinki! During our layover of near 3.5 hrs, I liked the beautiful Warsaw city as viewed from flight! Ceasefire at border ,we never know whether it will hold ! Let’s hope against all hope , Pakistan realises the gravity of the situation & God may bestow them with wisdom to act in a wiser manner!Thanks Joanna!Namastey
