Basically I am an Electrical Engineer retired recently from Central Govt. Service after serving for 38 yrs. Meanwhile I have completed my Master of Social Work degree to pursue my Social obligations towards my fellow beings & am engaged in rendering Social Services to the needy &the disadvantaged ! Also I will like to pursue my new-found interest/hobby of writing Travelogues to benefit my readers by providing max. details like statistics, demography, historical origin, way of life , professions , languages spoken & the culture/customs associated with any place. While enjoying any tourist place, I simply advocate that one must also try to learn about the place. I travel and then share the collected information with the potential traveler .Hence the name of my site - Travel and share.๐Ÿ˜Š

  1. RADHEY RADHEY; RADHEY KRISHNA Chauhan sir. A post with which I traversed from one end of Mathura, Virandavan, Nidhi Van, and other prominent places. The descriptions for each of the sacred spots are obviously very vivid and informative. For me, this could only be given by a person who goes deeper into the very place which he/she visits. May RADHEY SHAYAM BLESSINGS REMAIN ON US ALL TILL EERNITY.

  2. Excellent post, . All the places have been covered well, got a lot of new information too. Govinda ji temple looks like a very beautiful building made of sandstone. I had no idea about the historical importance of Nidhivan. Similarly, the grandeur and historical importance of many temples were not known. The issue of widows is definitely a bit disturbing, but it is true. Have seen many such widows in Varanasi too, Kesi Ghat Yamuna also felt a lot like the Ghat of Varanasi, one more thing,
Like Rajasthan, carvings have been given more importance on the houses and temples of Mathura, which is not seen in the temples of Varanasi. RADHE RADHE

  3. Very well explained that Braj Bhoomi is not a mythological but a factual city . The temples speak about the glorious times and multiple shades of Lord Krishna. In such short time you covered the glory and greys ( plight of widows) of the cities perfectly. Photography and details are beautifully captured.

  5. Lovely pictures and great information about the most sacred pilgrimage site of the Hindu religion! Mathura holds immense importance from historical, cultural, and religious point of view. In fact, every Hindu desires to visit this city. Though I havenโ€™t visited it, I can easily understand the feeling of happiness one can derive from visiting the birthplace of Lord Krishna. This city has so many significant temples that it should be nicked name as โ€˜City of Temples.
